Scholarships

No child should miss out on soccer because of money. Period.

How It Works

Nordic Soccer Alliance provides full and partial scholarships to families who cannot afford program fees. Our scholarship fund is supported entirely by donations from individuals, businesses, and community organizations.

1

Apply

Fill out the scholarship application form below. It takes about 5 minutes. We ask about your family situation, your child's interest in soccer, and the school they attend. No tax returns. No financial documents required for the initial application.

2

Review

Our team reviews applications within 7 business days. We prioritize families with the greatest financial need, but we work hard to help every family that applies. If we can't offer a full scholarship, we'll offer a reduced rate.

3

Play

Once approved, your child is enrolled immediately. We handle registration, equipment, and communication. Your child shows up and plays. That's it.

Who Qualifies?

We don't require proof of income for the initial application. We trust families to tell us what they need. Our scholarship criteria include:

Families receiving public assistance (CalFresh, Medi-Cal, free/reduced lunch, Section 8)
Single-parent households with limited income
Families with multiple children who want to participate
Foster families and kinship caregivers
Any family experiencing financial hardship that makes $60/month a burden

Not sure if you qualify? Apply anyway. We'd rather give a scholarship to someone who didn't strictly need it than miss a child who did.

Talent Scholarships

In addition to need-based scholarships, Nordic Soccer Alliance offers talent-based scholarships for exceptional young players who have the ability to compete at a club level but lack the financial means. These scholarships cover:

Full club team registration and league fees
All equipment and uniforms
Tournament entry fees
Transportation assistance (case by case)

Talent scholarship candidates are typically identified by their coaches in our school programs, but families and community members can also nominate a player.
